After graduating from Memorial High School with a weighted GPA of 5.52, Cole Hranicky began his studies at Texas Tech University, where he is pursuing a multidisciplinary degree in business, finance, and real estate. Cole Hranicky participated in the Academy of Finance, a four-month program that combines business and finance classes with a practical internship experience.
He completed a four-week internship with Gerber Construction in Colorado. In this full-time role, he handled administrative tasks and shadowed the main builder at in-process construction sites. Outside his career and academic accomplishments, Cole Hranicky has also engaged in community service projects. When Hurricane Harvey hit Houston in 2017, he contributed to search and recovery efforts.
He also spent three years involved with the Christian youth organization Young Life. As a Young Life leader, he organized Bible-focused retreats in Buena Vista and the San Juan Mountains in Colorado. During the most recent holiday season, he volunteered his time at a local children’s hospital and food bank.
